We are Fear of Strength and I have always taken an interest in fitness, movement, good health. I grew up playing sports, played soccer moved to football, and then lifting weights. After a few years I became a certified as a Fitness Coach through NASM. I have over a decade of experience as a fitness professional, and deeply enjoy helping people discover the power in their own bodies.
After working for a gym , I decided to take matter of my own and chose to go solo and do what I do best. That is to Help you and others who have doubted themselves or are recovering from an injury and want to continue to get stronger! Whatever your goal is I will be your guide.

I was fortunate to have met Eduardo Burdisso in November 2022, when he was coaching the Senior Fitness Class at 24-Hour Fitness in Falls Church, VA. From the very beginning, I could see that he was extremely talented as our skilled Senior Fitness Coach (three days per week) and my personal training sessions with him.
On the first day, I realized that I made a wise decision to join his class. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for his expertise. Eduardo was very professional, helping us achieve our fitness goals by designing and instructing safe and effective workout programs. He had a deep knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the body, especially muscles and joints. His understanding of how different types of exercise affect the body helped him create programs that target specific muscle groups and fitness objectives. I am more than happy to write this letter recommending trainer Eduardo Burdisso Gutierrez to you. I trained individually with Eduardo once a week for approximately six months, both in-person and virtually on zoom. I was also a regular in his large-group senior fitness classes at 24-Hour Fitness. Not only is he knowledgeable about strength, mobility, and balance exercises for seniors, he’s also a good listener and understood how to adapt his training sessions to my particular fitness goals. I had polio when I was a child, so he watched closely as I did each exercise, correcting my performance as needed with specific suggestions and words of encouragement, even when we worked on zoom.
I often worked with Eduardo on zoom when I was at my mountain cabin. I already had hand weights of various sizes, so he suggested I buy a step bench and bands and that I have a stable chair for exercising when I was there. These were sufficient for the training we did online.
During the time I worked with Eduardo, I benefitted in strength and balance, but, perhaps more importantly, I learned the right way to do the exercises so that I didn’t hurt myself or strain muscles. I’ve carried these lessons over to the large-group senior fitness classes I take at the gym where there are too many of us to give any individual attention. With the new year, I intend to sign up again for individual training with him.
If you choose to work with Eduardo on your fitness goals, I have no doubt you will be as pleased as I have been with his training sessions.

This is an honest, deeply felt THANK YOU letter for what Eduardo achieved when he jump-started this class again in Oct '21 during COVID. The success of this class, the exploding number of folks wanting to get in, the lines before class, the 6am sign-up frenzy, etc. are testament to what he has created and it's his and only his achievement.
Eduardo created and inspired the revived senior fitness program during COVID! He was our motivation and our example from the start. Without him we would have nothing that we have today. His incite and consistent pursuit of the senior’s needs helped formulate the senior program we have today. He is a natural trainer and coach who could easily run a gym for seniors, be it at a national franchise of gyms, a retirement home like Greenspring or a privately owned gym. His dedication to perfecting senior fitness is evidenced by the growth of the program from once a week to now four times a week; from 3 at the beginning, then 20 or so seniors to an average of 42 in each of the four classes held today. He has been our guru, and we will miss his presence.
He is simply the BEST!
We seniors must get used to not seeing Eduardo at the gym, but we wish him success and happiness in life and in his professional aspirations.

I worked with Ed for a little over 2 years, and while working with him I was able to lose over 12% body fat and 50 pounds. When I was working with Ed it felt like I working out with a friend, who was able to give me great advice and tips on how to improve my workouts. Working with Ed was great and I would 100% recommend it to anyone trying to gain experience and/or improve their physique.
